Since I really started running after I was 30 years old, I have the luxury of still getting faster each year. I do not have the baggage of high school/college PR's that cannot be beat!

1st marathon - January, 2006 in 3:59

Houston Marathon - January, 2008 in 3:19:53 thanks to an excellent coach, friend and running partner.

Short-Term Running Goals:

1/2 Marathon in 2008: 1:30

Marathon in 2008: 3:10

Long-Term Running Goals:

My long term fitness goal is to be in better shape in each successive year than the previous year - as judged by a measure established at the beginning of the year. For 2008 it is marathon time. In 2009 it might be triathlon time...
